I’m always looking for simplicity when it comes to cooking. I love things that inspire me to keep using it. These kitchen tools must also aid in my quest to keep a nutritious and delicious healthy diet.

Grilling season all year round

I was raised spending many vacations at our ranch, where grilling was a must. The flavor of grilling, while keeping the fat in check, makes it a perfect cook method all year around. It’s also a very versatile method because you can grill meats, vegetables and fruits.

I love these new products from William Sonoma.

a)    If you want to avoid the health hazards of grilling, studies show that rosemary and some other herbs can neutralize the carcinogenic agents of grilling that could cause cancer. Marinating the meat well ahead of time helps too. Being able to mix your own herbs in this seasoning shaker may also reduce the need of salt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

b)    Take the flavor of the salmon to another level. Wood grilling with this easy to use plank will make the fish’s texture and flavor simply delicious without anything to add other than a little bit of salt, lemon and fresh pepper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

c)    Want to have a hamburger? Go ahead. Just make sure that you have one serving, which is 3 ounces. This stuffed hamburger press makes it perfect for controlling the portion.
